Lungwort Overview

Pulmonaria officinalis is an evergreen perennial that is widely grown as an ornamental garden plant for the attractive spotted leaves and pretty pink-purple flowers. Commonly known by the names Lungwort, Jerusalem Cowslip and Spotted Dog, amongst many others. It produces heavily white-spotted 10 to 15cm long leaves. The flowers are borne stems about 30cm tall.
