Phygelius aequalis is a beautiful, lush, fast-growing, evergreen perennial, with spikes of showy trumpet-shaped, red or yellow flowers and a long blooming season. Commonly known by the names Cape Figwort and Cape Fuchsia, amongst others. Cape Figwort originates from southern Africa and cultivars for garden use have been developed. Phygelius equalise 'Yellow Trumpet' is particularly popular. ZA Distribution: Eastern Cape, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga.
