Bush Basil Overview

Greek Basil is a dense low growing type of Basil that is used as a culinary herb and as an ornamental. It was originally thought to be a dwarf variety of Sweet basil but has now been found to be is own species. Greek Basil has a smaller leaf and a more delicate sweeter taste with a hint of spice. It is ideal for growing in containers both inside and outdoors. Fragrant and attractive, it can be even used as part of an annual bedding display with its delicate spires of white flowers and low growing habit.
