Beauty Bush Overview

Kolkwitzia amabilis 'Pink Cloud' is a deciduous shrub with ovate, opposite leaves, borne on arching branches. It produces plentiful clusters of bell-shaped pink blooms, with yellow colouring on the inner throats, from late spring. Vigorous and medium-sized, the Beauty Bush - as it's also called - is a pretty, graceful addition to cottage gardens and other informal garden styles. Low maintenance, it is tolerant of most fertile, well-drained soils. It can be pruned, if needed, after flowering. Unsurprisingly popular with gardeners, Kolkwitzia amabilis 'Pink Cloud', has earned a coveted 'RHS Award of Garden Merit'.
