Perennial species with a vigorous growth habit, forms clumps of vertical stems with a number of yellow blooms measuring 5-7cm across. These appear in autumn and typically this species is grown for its foliage over its flowers. Foliage is narrow, straight and produced from a central erect stem, arching down towards the ground.
