    Blanket Flowers Overview

Gaillardia × grandiflora is a hybrid species of red, orange and yellow flowering perennials with large ornamental flowers throughout summer and autumn. Commonly known as Blanket Flowers, they were created by a garden cross of the species G. aristata (native to north America) and G. pulchella (native to central & south America) and have proved very popular with many different cultivars being developed since.
