Crested poppy Overview

A genus containing 32 accepted species of perennials known commonly as prickly poppies. They are native to the Americas and Hawaii and grow best when treated as annual species. Flowers are usually yellow or white with thistley, pointed leaves and deadheading is recommended to prolong the flowering season.
