Clown Orchid Overview

Rossioglossum 'Rawdon Jester' is an epiphytic orchid from the Orchidaceae family. It is a natural hybrid formed from the plants Rossioglossum grande and Rossioglossum williamsianum. Sometimes known by the name Clown Orchid, this plant doesn't typically exceed 40cm in height. It produces showy blooms, coloured yellow-gold with attractive striping, the central petal is whitish. This plant is not the easiest to grow, it doesn't like much heat, thriving in cooler temperatures. It originates from high altitudes and grows best in bright partial shade and high humidity.
