Vriesea fenestralis Overview
Vriesea fenestralis is an attractive evergreen perennial plant from the Bromeliaceae family. It produces rosettes of strap-shaped foliage measuring approximately 60cm in length. Leaves are green in colour with attractive lighter mottling. Suits growing indoors as a houseplant. Flowers are borne on erect spikes, these are tubular and surrounded by showy modified leaves known as bracts. This species originates from Brazil and is typically grown for the foliage.
