Masterwort Overview

Genus of 11 hardy, herbaceous perennials with distinctive pincushion flowers and aromatic roots. This genus is endemic to the Caucasus, Central, Eastern and Southern Europe. Species from this genus have been cultivated as garden plants and do well in shady, moist soil. Flowers have a range of red pink and white colours.
