This is a beautiful upright shrub which is grown for its pretty, fragrant yellow blooms and its ornamental foliage. The leaves are compound, leathery and rich, blue-green in colour. They are followed by small, blue fruits. They will prefers a shady spot and a rich, well drained soil.
