Gentian Overview
Genus with around 360 hardy, evergreen or semi-evergreen, annual, biennial or perennial plants that produce blue, trumpet-shaped flowers. Sometimes red, white or yellow blooms are seen, but blue is most common. These species are well suited to growing in rock gardens.
