Adenostoma Overview

Genus of just 2 species of evergreen shrub native to California, characterised by their linear, hard leaves and shedding bark. Flowers are cream or white and borne in clusters. This genus is capable of growing in poor quality soil and dry, rocky environments, and can provide protection from soil erosion.
