Duckweed Overview

This genus consists of about 8 species of floating, aquatic perennials, which produce tiny bright green leaves, as well as minute, green flowers. They are half hardy, need a sunny position, and you should remove excess plantlets when necessary. Propagation is by redistribution of plantlets as required.

Other uses of Duckweed

Grown for their curiosity value as the smallest known flowering plant.
