Acmadenia Overview
Genus with over 30 species of shrubs with small, tough, foliage reduced to heather-like scales that typically grow from one basal stem. Foliage is grey-green, opposite or alternately arranged, simple and linear in appearance. Flowers are produced either singly or in groups of 2-3, these are arranged in terminal clusters which can measure anywhere between 5-25mm across. These are pink or sometimes white, with a darker line down the centre of the petals as a nectar guide, 5-petalled and produced abundantly.
