Furry Feather 'Wavestar' Overview
Calathea rufibarba has recently been reclassified, it is now known as Goeppertia rufibarba, hence this cultivar is now known as Goeppertia rufibarba 'Wavestar' is a tender, evergreen perennial. It is frequently grown as a houseplant because of its striking foliage. This plant forms clumps of narrow, lance-shaped, green leaves with yellow-green wave-like markings and purple undersides. Leaves have fine hairs across their surface, making them feel like velvet. Yellow blossoms are produced at the base of mature plants in ample light.
