Fire lily Overview

Genus with approximately 56 deciduous or evergreen, bulbous herbaceous perennials. Leaves are slim, linear to strap-shaped and tend to twist attractively into spirals. Brightly coloured tubular to funnel-shaped flowers are produced on upright inflorescences, they may be red, pink, orange, yellow or white and in some species these are scented.
