Heaths Overview

Erica is a large genus containing around 868 species of evergreen shrub also called Heath or Heather. These common names are also shared with similar-looking, closely related genera so should be used conservatively. Species in this genus tend to grow between 20-150cm tall, but some are known to reach 7m high. Foliage is small and reduced to needles and these are typically grown for their dense spectacles of showy, tubular white or pink flowers.
