Japanese Snowball 'Mariesii' Overview
Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum 'Mariesii' is deciduous shrub who's branches spread out in a tiered fashion. In late spring it produces attractive and large lace cap heads of white blooms which develop into first red, then black fruits. in autumn, Japanese Snowball 'Mariesii' dark green leaves turn an attractive purple before falling. Viburnum plicatum 'Mariesii' has earnt a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit.
