Cat's ears Overview

Hypochaeris is a genus containing around 85 species of annual or herbaceous perennial flowering plants in the Asteraceae family. This genus is mostly native to South America with a few species originating from Eurasia and North Africa. Closely related to dandelions, they have a characteristic basal rosette of often toothed leaves and yellow flower heads held on lax stems. Commonly known as cat’s ear they are often cultivated in wildflower planting schemes.
