Jewel of the veldt Overview

There are about 40 species of annuals, perennials, subshrubs and shrubs. They have pinnate, fern-like foliage and will bear terminal clusters of yellow, white, orange or occasionally red flowers with purple or yellow centres. They are half hardy to frost tender, min 5-7C and will need full light with well drained soil. They will require good ventilation if grown under glass. Propagation is by seed or greenwood cuttings in the spring.
