Geissorhiza Overview

Geissorhiza is a South African genus containing around 101 deciduous perennial species in the Iridaceae family. They produce attractive, colourful flowers similar to those in the related genus Gladiolus. There are a range of flower colours including blue, pink, purple, red, yellow, white and combinations. The species Geissorhiza radians is particularly stunning. They grow from corms and make good pot plants
