Very clean and peaceful park to visit. No entrance fee. The bathrooms are very clean and have partitioned toilet roll paper laid out for usage. Different spots to choose from and some benches or cement park chairs available. Although it is very close to a busy road once you're in the park the city noise is not very audible, depending on where you sit. The trees are magnificent and some have a protective wire over the bottom.

A really beautiful park. A hidden gem tucked away in Claremont. Beautiful plants and trees from around the world, and an interesting history to it. The gardens are well taken care of. The reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because there can sometimes be suspicious characters that will harass you or follow you and it doesn’t feel safe.

A beautiful ancient garden with huge trees, kept tidy and improved with the communities help. Tree names and information boards make it very educational, or just relax with 5 of South Africa's 29 Champion trees. Several of the other trees are also over 100 years old. We'll worth a visit.

Lovely Gardens in Claremont, the parking situation is quite messy and all on street. The gardens are free and dog-friendly. Some of the areas seemed slightly desolate and under construction. So not sure when that will be completed, but pretty and pleasant nonetheless. As for the bathroom, pack tissues. You won't have loo paper.

More commonly known as Claremont gardens. The place is beautiful and tranquil... 🌿 Plants and trees from all over the world 🗺... The paths can definitely do with a revamp as they a deteriorated in certain areas. But what I lovely place and still highly sort after for wedding 💒 photo's 📸... Such a shame water 💦 ponds are suffering from eutrophication and pollution... May just be seasonal though
