An enchanting garden nestled in the beautiful Torridge Valley. Surrounded by woodland, the garden includes the largest rose gardens in the South West, the stunning Hot Garden, a Devon Cottage Garden, lake and stream, fruit and vegetable garden, natural flower meadows and bluebell carpeted woodlands. Facilities include restaurant and tea room, plant centre and gift shop.

Stone Lane Gardens is a spectacular woodland and water garden on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, that enchants and inspires in every season, famous for National Collections of Birch and Alder trees. It has a specialist tree nursery and is an RHS Partner Garden and registered charity, no.1411252. It is open to visitors on every day of the year, including Christmas Day.
Marwood Hill Gardens

Tucked below the North Devon village of Guineaford, this hidden valley garden was once home to celebrate plantsman Dr Jimmy Smart MBE, VMH. The garden was transformed over 70 years from rough pastureland into the picturesque and magical garden seen today. As well as showcasing a range of rare trees and shrubs, three stunning lakes full of wildlife are waiting to be discovered by visitors. Woodland walks around Marwood Hill Gardens are awash with astounding autumn colour during winter and extensive bulb displays the rest of the year. The view across the valley from the Garden Tea Room is spectacular, accompanied by delicious food and a garden centre teeming with unusual plants for sale.

Chambercombe Manor is set in a secluded valley, positioned near the Heritage Coast of Ilfracombe, North Devon. The Manor House is thought to date from the 11th century and was mentioned in the Domesday Book. There are gardens to view and also a tea room for refreshments and food.

Docton Mill Gardens

Docton Mill Wild Flower Gardens are situated in North Devon (UK) in a stunning valley, 1000m from the coast. The garden started in the 1930’s but fell into disrepair in the 1970’s. 1980 saw the Mill renovated and Garden cleared with extensive planting and the creation of a new bog garden and borders, vast numbers of trees were planted. The start of the new Millennium saw developments including a new Magnolia Garden with large Herbaceous borders, Woodland Garden and Greenhouse area enabling more extensive plant propagation. The wild flower gardens theme is to make everything as natural as possible. In spring there are displays of narcissi, primulas, camellias, rhododendrons, azaleas with bluebells covering the woods.

A grade I listed Robert Adam designed stately home situated in a serene Capability Brown parkland ith its two large lakes . Open for public and private tours. The Orangery tearoom overlooks a formal lavender parterre, and grounds include a courtyard, a chapel garden, a spanish garden, a greenhouse and a formal garden with its clipped box maze looking across a stereotypical Capability Brown grassy avenue towards the lakes.
