Alice at Loughcrew was, for 9 of us a family treat outdoors & in the dark which made it extra interesting. It's hard to describe so the photos do that job. The walk around lasted about an hour. The atmosphere of lights, dark & installations was exciting for kids & adults alike & was worth the distance to travel there. A little on the expensive side but then it took a lot of work to design & put together. Well done Loughcrew Estate

Nice place for a walk. Quiet in winter. Sort of 3 walks available. 1)The gardens and church is a short stroll with interesting ornaments and flowers 2) the forest walk. A circumference of the gardens with some forest 2) creve Lough walk. About 6 There and back. Open countryside walk through farmland and copse forest. Very tranquil views of rolling countryside and smallish lake.

€53.17 for 2 Adults and a Child to walk 15 mins around an allegedly enchanted garden boasting no more than some average lighting and poorly made figurines/sculptures. Not even a cup of tea on the way out included the price. Bit of a joke really. Rip of Ireland is back with a bang. May I offer a nugget of advice….I would tend to avoid if I were you…..

We visited Lough Crew for the first time to see the Christmas lights and it was a lovely experience. They also have a really nice coffee shop, good coffee & lovely cakes. Look forward to visiting the gardens again this year.

I went to the Lightscape with my mum and we really enjoyed it. Lovely mulled wine & herbal teas in the coffee shop and great to see something different in the locality. Every corner you turned there was something else to see. A great reason to get out of the house on the dark evenings. Perfect to get you in the mood for Christmas.
