About the garden

Logie House Garden sits on the grounds of the 130 acre Logie Estate, centered around a natural river, which winds through the gardens from top to bottom, providing year-round interest and a constant soundscape of babbling waters. Stroll along the length of this burn and take in the maturing trees and shrubs which provide shelter for a variety of hardy perennials and groundcover plants. Many of the herbaceous plants found at Logie House were propagated for the Logie Steading Farm and Garden Shop, which offers an interesting collection of items to browse on a rainy day.

The walled garden that used to be the centrepiece here has been transitioning since 1991 into a woodland garden, and many of the shrubs and trees have now reached an impressive level of maturity. Logie House sits within a noticeable microclimate, where there is a certain peace and tranquility - be sure to plan time to sit back and watch the birds and other wildlife from one of the many places to sit in these varied gardens.

Opening times

Garden, playground and river walks are always open (honesty box entry). Logie Steading is open daily from Feb until Christmas Eve. During Jan, it is open Fri - Sun only. Mar - Oct: 10AM - 5PM Nov - Feb: 10AM - 4PM Cafe opens at 10AM

This has got to be one of the best kept secrets of Moray. Stunning environment, along with a eclectic selection of shops and a smashing café. Well done you 😊

Well worth a visit. Art gallery had some wonderful exhibits. Had a lovely lunch in the cafe. Disappointed that the antique shop was closed on the day we visited.

Lovely wee place, lots to see for all the family. Great walks, brill kids playpark. Fab soup in the restaurant (queues quite long so be prepared!) worth the wait. Loved the wood in the farm shop, all the gorgeous produce too. Gift shop/gallery is a must for some amazing pressies.

Always enjoy a visit here. Food is a bit pricey but good and the coffee is great. Lovely cafe and great local crafts and art.

Gem of a place a little hidden but worth making the trip down the road. Hellyhogs has wonderful craft items and the second hand book store has the most fabulous selection of books. Well worth the visit.
