Such a stunning place, breathtaking scenery, beautiful gardens and loads of history. lovely little cafe, friendly staff. Birds singing in the trees were magnificent (lucky to be springtime) We were without our kids but I'd say the ferry and closeups of seal islands would be a treat for families (I was delighted!) Definitely worth a trip!

Need to pay €5 for admission Cash Only. Lovely place to go, beautiful scenery, lovely gardens specially the Italian garden and the wall garden. There is also a cafe on the island that will accept cash and card. would recommend a visit for sure, if you around the area of Glengariff.

Amazing island Beautiful gardens with lots to explore & fantastic views, definatly worth a visit Loads of seals on our boat trip there Only catch was that boat & €5 entrance fee to the island are cash only....no card facilities so make sure you have cash with you

Absolutely Beautiful the views are stunning. The plants and flowers are spectacular. The only thing I wasn't happy about was it was cash only on admission, there were no signs to warn people, as most people didn't have cash when they arrived. The tea rooms accept card payments.

Such a lovely place to visit! Quite affordable too. My little girl 4 walked the entire thing and didn't complain once. They loved the martello tower, although they couldn't see over the walls at the top. The boat ride out is short enough that the kids didn't get bored and there was plenty of seal spotting.
