Such a stunning place, breathtaking scenery, beautiful gardens and loads of history. lovely little cafe, friendly staff. Birds singing in the trees were magnificent (lucky to be springtime) We were without our kids but I'd say the ferry and closeups of seal islands would be a treat for families (I was delighted!) Definitely worth a trip!

A fun jaunt by ferry to the island (two separate companies operate the journey). Very formal gardens and landscaping, not a naturalistic design. We covered everything but the house tour in under an hour. Please note that while you can charge for the ferry, the island only takes cash, so be prepared.

Need to pay €5 for admission Cash Only. Lovely place to go, beautiful scenery, lovely gardens specially the Italian garden and the wall garden. There is also a cafe on the island that will accept cash and card. would recommend a visit for sure, if you around the area of Glengariff.

Absolutely Beautiful the views are stunning. The plants and flowers are spectacular. The only thing I wasn't happy about was it was cash only on admission, there were no signs to warn people, as most people didn't have cash when they arrived. The tea rooms accept card payments.
