Absolutely beautiful! Lots of vegetation and wildlife. You could take a walk in the mushroom meander and explore the gardens beauty.

What a gem! Nature at its best! Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. A place where you can relax, reflect and enjoy being swallowed up by nature. Try it and share in the enjoyment.

We stopped here for a walk around the gardens on our drive along the garden route N2. It's worth the stop with great views across to the mountains and the actual gardens are well laid out. A cafe is also there serving a full lunch etc menu.

We were a little let down with the state of the garden, at the time of our visit (June) it looked very much a work in progress as supposed to a fully mature garden. What redeamed it for us however was the mushroom meander, down by a stream underneath the trees. Also, the bird hide was quite novel especially since I'm not a very patient person. Sofie that alone I was happy to spend the R15 entrance fee.
