About the garden

Ryton Organic Gardens has a demonstration garden that is open to members and visitors for pre-booked tours. The garden features several unique areas including a large glasshouse and poly-tunnel, a four-bed veg garden following a crop rotation, a no-dig system trial area, and a container garden space.

The organic garden is bursting with ornamental plants and flowers, as well as an array of seasonal fruits and vegetables including some unusual varieties. A large proportion of our vegetables are varieties selected from the Heritage Seed Library - a must-see for any gardener.

Opening times

Garden Organic's head office is open 9am- 5pm, however our organic demonstration garden is only open for pre-booked tours

What a beautiful place and run on the soundest of organic principles. Lots of ideas to take away and try in your own garden or allotment, whether for food or ornamental production. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent.

Had a guided tour of the garden which was very interesting. Amazing to see how much work is going on behind the scene on a variety of plant and vegetables.
