About the garden

Bantry House is a stately home overlooking Bantry Bay in the south west of Ireland. The gardens were created by Richard White, the 2nd Earl of Bantry, but after a period of neglect they needed to be restored and this work began in 1997. The garden has seven terraces and features including a fountain.
