Crown Cactus Overview
The genus Rebutia contains around 29 species of dwarf, clump-forming perennial cacti from the Cactaceae family. These plants are found in mountainous regions of Bolivia and northern Argentina. They are popular for their clumping habit and splash of floral colour. Diurnal flowers are borne near the stem bases, making members of this genus popular in temperate greenhouses or as houseplants.
