Chin Cactus Overview

The genus Gymnocalycium contains around 61 perennial species of spherical or cylindrical cacti from the Cactaceae family. These plants have prominent, spiralling ribs which are divided into rounded, spiny tubercles. Large, funnel-shaped flowers are produced in early autumn, in a range of colours including red, pink, white and yellow.
