Armoracia is a small genus of 3 perennial species that produce 4-petalled white flowers. They are widely cultivated for food consumption across the world. Residing in the family Brassicaceae, along with other crop species such as cabbage, mustard and broccoli. Grown mainly for their large, white roots. Species in this genus include the well-known horseradish, which may be consumed as a root vegetable or a spice for flavouring.
