Red Bistort Overview
Persicaria amplexicaulis is a semi-evergreen perennial with a robust, clumping growth habit. Foliage is oval, pointed and slightly puckered, coloured green and measuring around 25cm in length. Narrow inflorescences measuring around a metre tall, bear clusters of bell-shaped, red-purple or white flowers which are approximately 10cm long.
