Black Ornamental Grass Overview

Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens' is a clump-forming perennial from the Asparagaceae family that produces jet black foliage. Commonly known by the names Black Ornamental Grass, Black Lilyturf, Black Turf Lily, Black Mondo and Ornamental Black Grass. In the summer short spikes of pale lilac flowers appear, followed by berries.
