Texas Red Yucca Overview
Hesperaloe parviflora is a tough evergreen perennial species from the Asparagaceae family. Originating from northeastern Mexico and Texas, this species is known by a range of common names including Red Yucca and Hummingbird Yucca, amongst others. It produces straight, semi-succulent leaves from a basal rosette and attractive blooms on tall stems above the foliage in the summer.
