This plant is often found in the wild in Northern Europe. STEM: Climbing, slender. ROOT: Fibrous, with tiny nodules. HAIRS: Nearly hairless. STIPULES: Present, often lobed. LEAF-STALK: Mostly absent. BRACTS: Absent FLOWER STALK: Shorter than flower. SEPALS: 5, bases joined, teeth equal, longer than tube. PETALS: 5, lowest 2 joined, 2 side petals overlap lower. STAMENS: 10, 9 joined at base. STIGMA: 1, style hairless or hairy. OVARY: 1, 1-celled. SEEDS: Usually 2, round.
