Leptinella Overview
A genus of annual or perennial alpine plants in the daisy family with a tufted, creeping or mat-forming habit containing 33 accepted species. They are native to the Southern Hemisphere in New Guinea, Australasia, South Africa and South America. They form spreading carpets of pinnately-divided foliage and have button-like flowers. L. squalida is cultivated as a component in tapestry lawns.
