Knotweed Overview
This species is a low growing mat-forming perennial which will grow to about 25cm. The leaves are elliptic to oblanceolate 3-10cm and basal, they are dark green turning bronze-red in the autumn. The flowers are borne in dense upright spikes of pink-red blooms in late summer to medium autumn.
