Virgilia oroboides Overview
This species is a fast growing shrub or tree with young reddish growth. The leaves are leathery pinnate with oblong, medium to deep green leaflets with a dense, woolly underside. The flowers are borne from the spring to the summer with racemes of 12 pea-like purple, pink, white, fragrant blooms.
