Alyogyne Overview

Alyogyne is a genus containing 5 evergreen shrub species endemic to Australia. They produce large showy flowers in a range of colours, including many purple variants. Flowers are similar to those of the genus Hibiscus and previously these species were classified there. They are widely cultivated for their flowers with many cultivar and hybrids commercially available.
