Common morning glory Overview

Ipomoea purpurea is a twining climber that produces attractive purple flowers that have a white throat from early summer through until autumn. Commonly known as a Morning Glory, it is occasionally sold as Convolvulus major. This tender short lived perennial is mostly grown as an annual in colder climbs where it adds amazing colour and height to summer displays, both indoors or outside.
