Calathea 'Misto' Overview
Goeppertia 'Misto' has undergone extensive reclassification, but is well known by the name Calathea 'Misto'. More often, it's called Prayer Plant 'Misto' after the fantastic foliage. Place in a position of bright, partial sun, in well-draining soil for optimal growth. Placement in a bathroom or kitchen is ideal, as these rooms are typically the most humid. They want to say relatively moist, but do not allow it to sit in water. This cultivar is a tender, evergreen perennial hybrid from the arrowroot family, Marantaceae. It is frequently grown indoors due to its stunning leaf markings which resemble a mosaic stained glass window. Leaf edges are slightly wavy and thoroughly eye-catching!
