Also known as Cimicifuga simplex 'Atropurpurea Group'. These plants have long bottle-brush-like flowering spikes of cream-white flowers, which are flushed with pink and appear from September to October. The foliage is comprised of double, heart-shaped three-lobed leaves in burgundy, at the base of the plant.
