Burnet 'Alba' Overview

Sanguisorba tenuifolia 'Alba' is a cultivar which produces fluffy, white, bottlebrush-like, terminal flowering spikes where flowers are attached directly to the inflorescence without stalks. Flowers lack petals and have long silky stamens. Commonly called Burnet 'Alba', foliage is alternately arranged, with toothed, veined leaflets in a pinnate structure. This cultivar has a clumping habit and is fully hardy, plant in a position of full sun, in damp soil for optimal growth.
