Very serene atmosphere and beautiful landscape. The manor house is stunning and adds the rich historical feel to the grounds. Walking through the gardens you are swept up in history and could almost imagine what it felt like living on the grounds back in the days. A beautiful array of flowers are planted across the grounds in a spectacular display. The grounds are in excellent condition. There is a cafe on the grounds and they serve amazing food. The staff are friendly and fast with service. I would recommend having a nice brunch with a warm coffee and freshly baked cake while visiting. The zoo is a beautiful assortment of local animals and have a few habitats for the local red squirrels which are amazing to see. This is a must see historic destination.

Amazing place to visit on a nice day. There is huge fields to sit and relax on aswell as a huge play area for the kids. Also in the grounds there is a little farm with birds and alpaca on, a green house with a pond full of fish and other things to see. Car park is reasonably price & blue badge get to park for free while there. There isn’t many BB spaced near the front but you can park in any space and pop your BB out for free parking.

Lovely place. First time I've been here. Very clean and tidy. Lots to do for the kids and the cafe is great. Toilets dotted round and clean also. Paid £4 to park for the day and the small kids zoo free 👍

Fantastic council owned park. Grounds are so well maintained and are a credit to all involved in their maintenance and upkeep. Nice cafe dog friendly with decent range of drinks and snacks but is slightly expensive. Nice little children's zoo and play area as well. Something for everyone.

Makes for a fab half day out, suitable for couples or families with kids with the small zoo and mini golf. The gardens are also well kept and make for a pleasant, short walk. The main let down is how busy the cafe gets, so we went elsewhere for food instead of waiting.
