Went for Afternoon Tea for my birthday with my grandparents. I am Gluten and Dairy free very accommodating. First time I have had scones in since becoming gluten and dairy free and they were lovely . High quality food and they even gave us free champagne. Brilliant service. Kind and attentive staff. Food was outstanding. Plus added bonus of absolutely gorgeous view . They went above and beyond to make it a lovely experience.

Tortworth court hotel such a wonderful place to go. The surroundings & the actual hotel is amazing full of character & service was excellent but unfortunately the room 137 where my husband & I stayed was not very clean at all . Mould in the bathroom,, a large bolt screw to use as a handle to turn on the shower,, not good!!. Loo had a awful stain & it was rather unpleasant to see down there. Don't get me wrong but the bedding & the bed was so comfy lovely & clean. The room was spacious but unfortunately cleanness of the room was poor. To actually see thick dust & cobwebs inside the 3 lamps shade & dust on the skirting boards & all the edges of the carpets covered in dust too. Not nice! For some guests may not find such a big issue but when you pay rather a lot of money & it was special treat you want a nice spotless room. My husband & I have been going for years back in year 2000 having had special memories & precious times. Since the hotel changed over to De vere not impressed at all. 🤔😏

Not a bad place. Beautiful grounds. Staff very friendly. The rooms are okay, very standard, not 4* at all. The bathroom toilet was stained with black, the flush makes a very loud noise. There are no plugs near the bed so it makes it hard to charge phones etc. No air conditioning in the rooms so only use of fans which are provided. The beds are comfy and with nice soft pillows too. The spa was nice. Nothing much around so it’s just a place to come to if you don’t want to travel much. On a Saturday night they had a bbq, which was the first time they had done this. It was a beautiful evening so the ambience was good. However we felt the food was not great, the meat needed to be cooked a little more and there needed to be more variety of sides.

Excellent hotel, set in beautiful grounds. Very friendly staff nothing seems to much trouble service with a smile 🙂 The buffet breakfast is fantastic. Drinks are expensive, but then I expected that so beware. I think the service charge in the bar is a little steep, I'll be aware next time when I go back - I would recommend this hotel if you're looking to escape for a romantic weekend away 👍

I came here on NYE as a wedding photographer and I have to say I was hugely impressed with this place. The hotel rooms are really gorgeous and spacious which made for really easy getting ready coverage. Not to mention the staircase allowing for some gorgeous portraits as well. The orangery is one of the most gorgeous spaces I’ve ever shot a wedding at as well and the grounds themselves offer so many different options for stunning portraits. I was hugely impressed with all the staff here. I can’t wait to come back again some time.
