Delicious, affordable wine tasting experience! On your way there it really feels like you’re escaping the busy town and driving into an old, preserved and calm country! Quiet, quaint and quite enjoyable! Worth checking out.

We are regulars, but somehow our experience keeps improving. Richard was so attentive, knowledgeable and polite. I highly recommend Rustenberg. Ambience and great wine. Keep it up!

The place is very beautiful. And the people were so welcoming... The only issue is the accessibility for those who don't have car, since Uber is hard to get to fetch one there They are doing great!!

Unfortunately had a terrible experience this past weekend at Rustenberg wine estate (26 Feb 2022). We phoned early on Saturday morning to book a table for 4 adults and 2 kids outside to enjoy the day in the gardens. The booking was confirmed over the phone. Drove all the way out to the wine estate only to be told on arrival that they have booked a large table and unfortunately cannot accommodate us anymore unless we would like to sit on a small bench inside, next to the bathrooms. No apology, no attempt to phone us before arrival to inform us of the situation. Truly heartbreaking since we love going to Rustenberg but unfortunately it will be our last.

This is a gorgeous rustic farm where the wines are fabulous and the pace is slow. While booking is recommended, you can just pitch up. Prepare for a generous and un rushed tasting at a well appointed venue set next to a shady lawn surrounded by Cape Dutch farm buildings.
