It IS an experience. Well worth it. There happened to be a market on when we visited - loafs of fabulous local things we'd never heard of, despite living in Ayrshire! As a Geordie, I'd not had much exposure to Burns before relocating to Ayrshire. The centre helped bring it all to life, and I'm now a convert. Burns is still very much relevant today.

This is a must-go-to-place. It gives a real insight into the life and work of Robert Burns. He is the most loved poet of Scotland and it is easy to why. Brilliant place and thank you for making it possible.

We felt like to fully enjoy this place you had to know a bit more about Robert Burns than we did to begin with. The exhibition is very interesting and artistic. Some interactive stuff as well. Maybee 11£ is a bit much, but you also get access to the Burns cottage.
