At last made a visit to the gardens only as the hall wasn't open. My wife was in an electric wheelchair that struggled in places due the gravel footpaths however the owners were very helpful making sure we saw as much as possible. We got to see the Hall close up & the different garden areas. Probably best of all was seeing a Swan nesting. There's a lovely cafe selling homemade cakes. This is a must visit.

The gardens are beautiful and well worth a visit. There is also a lovely tea room with delicious cakes after your wander round the Gardens. We'll worth a visit.

Beautiful, peaceful gardens surrounding a fascinating 16th-century moated manor house. Gardens are open April to October Wednesday mornings and Sunday afternoons. Lovely little café serving coffee and cakes.

One of our favourite finds in North Norfolk. The moated house is most picturesque and the beautifully laid out and tended gardens are a delight. The owners, Mr & Mrs Tucker are friendly and welcoming, and always ready for a chat. Just one small point: I’m sure there were more information boards when we came a couple of years ago, giving history and background. But the inscription by a hidden seat: “Oh rest a bit, for `tis a rare place to rest at” seemed apt. See if you can find it!

A beautiful 15th C. moated house ... with well tended gardens . And a great tea room... Only open Wednesday mornings and Sunday afternoons. So pick your time. Plenty of parking in the orchard. Good walks around the ancient fish stock ponds dating back hundreds of years..
